It’s been an extraordinary year for Team Aircare. Not only has 2021 seen us into our 30th year of business, but we are also paying tribute to our company Founder and Chairman, Brian Bennett along with Senior Engineer, Willie Bourn as they retire after many years of dedication and professionalism at Aircare and the compressed air industry.

To celebrate this, and the reopening of the newly refurbished trade counter & offices at Aircare’s Head Office, we will be holding an open event on Wednesday 2nd June between 10am – 1pm.

There will be a free gift for every visitor and well-known suppliers within the compressed air & vacuum industry such as Compair, Hydrovane, Elmo Rietschle, Pneumax & Prevost. The British Compressed Air Society will be on hand along with our fluid power partners OMC & Hydroscand. This team will be on hand to share their knowledge and experience and showcase products and information. Visitors can enjoy light refreshments and will get the opportunity to chat to leading experts in the industry.

A presentation to honour Brian Bennett’s 30 years of service and Willie Bourn’s retirement will take place at 11am and 30th Birthday gifts will be given out to all Aircare team members, to say a huge ‘Thank-you’ for their service.

Our open morning will adhere to all COVID government guidelines and we look forward to welcoming visitors throughout the morning to meet our team and make our celebration very special.

The Chancellor has recently announced that from 1 April 2021 until 31 March 2023, companies investing in qualifying new plant and machinery assets will be able to claim:

- 130% super-deduction capital allowance on qualifying plant and machinery investments

- 50% first-year allowance for qualifying special rate assets

This ‘super deduction’ is an opportunity to reduce business corporation tax liability, allowing companies to cut their tax bill by up to 25p for every £1 they invest.

The Team at Aircare are thrilled to hear such positive news. Making capital allowances more generous works to stimulate business investment and as a result, promotes economic growth.
